Sweden was the most influential, and probably the most significant glassmaking nation of the 20th century. Previous studies of the subject have taken a 'Greatest Hits' approach by concentrating on unique and high-value pieces, many held in museums. This new study, the result of six years' research, takes an original approach by placing equal emphasis on the type of vases and drinking glasses given as presents or in every-day use across the world, often with current values in single and double figures.
